I just had to remind myself that the weather does get better…
I just had to look back through my photos, to remind myself that summer does exist. What a difference there was between my allotment last July, and then on December 24th when I had to search for my brussel sprouts in the snow. Still they do say that a frost makes the brussels sweeter, and nobody complained about mine on Christmas Day!
(Oh, apart from my 4 year old…. but who does like them, I have discovered, when shreaded and stir-fried with ginger and garlic.)
